About Lexi
Lexi is a blue and white American Staffordshire Terrier just under 3 years old, currently in Fayetteville, WV. She and her sister Lilo lost their home because of a family crisis, and it’s left Lexi understandably shaken by her new reality in the shelter. In person, she still seems small—trembling, nervous, and unsure of herself. For now, most days are overwhelming for her, but there’s still a gentle sweetness underneath all that anxiety. Even in this difficult stage, Lexi quietly shines. She’s great with other dogs and does well with children, so she could fit right into a home with an established pack or a playful family. What she craves most is a calm, patient environment, and someone willing to let her take things at her own pace, without pressure. If adopted or fostered by the right person, Lexi is the kind of dog who will open up—just add time, reassurance, and a steady hand. Her adoption fee covers her spay, vaccinations, microchip, deworming, and heartworm test before she heads home. She’s just waiting on someone to see her potential and give her a chance to trust again. Click apply to start the adoption process.
