Star is a blue pittie whose spirit finally matches her name. When she first arrived, she was withdrawn and fearful, but through time in foster care she’s discovered how good life can be. She’s house trained, crate trained, settles calmly when left alone, and always seems happiest lounging with music or enjoying a good chew toy. Star loves to be close to her people—she’s a classic Velcro dog—whether cuddling on the couch, riding in the car, or tagging along for a walk. Just seeing a leash is enough to set her tail wagging wildly. With dogs, Star is a joyful playmate and would thrive in a lively home with other playful pups. One of her favorite games involves bounding after her friends and inviting everyone into the fun. She’s great with children, gets along with cats, and welcomes affection and scritches from just about anyone.
