Darryl is a kind, lowkey, and wiggly boy who would love a home with a big backyard that'll let him put his professional grade sniffer to use. Darryl is an honor roll student here at the shelter, so his owner will need to be someone who is ready to put his wits to the test with plenty of mental and physical enrichment to keep him sharp as a knife! Darryl can be a bit apprehensive when it comes to other canine companions, so he may prefer to be the only dog in the home. If you have a resident dog, we strongly recommend you bring them in for a dog-to-dog to ensure Darryl will be a good fit for the household. It’s a 5-day, no-strings-attached, trial adoption period. You can take this pet home to try it out! Interested? Be sure to check the "shelter information" box on the listing to see if the pet is located at our Fairfax Campus (4500 West Ox Road, Fairfax) or our Lorton Campus (8875 Lorton Road, Lorton).
