About Al Pacino

Al Pacino lost his home unexpectedly but has handled the transition back into rescue life with surprising grace. He’s a Great Pyrenees/Golden Retriever mix, known for his calm and affectionate nature. At Windsong Ranch, Al gets along well with the other dogs and is trustworthy around chickens, joining the staff in their daily rounds to the chicken yard. He misses his daily walks and perks up whenever he sees a leash, hoping it’s his turn—walks and car rides are two of his favorite things. Al can clear a 4' fence with little effort, so he will need at least 5' fencing for safe off-leash time. If you don’t have a yard, regular walks and bathroom breaks should suit him just fine. Al’s past has made him a little wary of new experiences, likely due to some difficult moments before rescue, so he may need time to settle in and build trust in a new home. He’s come a long way in learning to share food and toys with other dogs but should have proper introductions. He’s handled holiday crowds, gentle interactions with children, and visits from smaller dogs with composure and emotional sensitivity. Al is already neutered, vaccinated, and eager for a second chance with someone ready to give him the patience and stability he deserves. Your new best friend is just one click away.
