About Titan

Titan is a Great Pyrenees who spent three tough years on the streets of southern Dallas County, mainly around a trailer park where one family looked out for him and made sure he had food. Thanks to some determined rescue supporters and neighbors, Titan was finally brought in for much-needed care. When rescued, his thick coat was so matted and dirty that it caused painful urine scalding and infections, and it had to be shaved close to the skin—shedding nearly 20 pounds of fur in the process. Titan had significant ear infections and underwent a total ear canal ablation, but is now fully healed. His fur is starting to grow back, though it still looks patchy in spots. Despite the hardships, Titan is a cheerful, friendly dog who enjoys being with people. He gets along well with other dogs and often plays with one of his canine neighbors. He’s ready at last for a stable, loving home where he can relax and finally belong. Let’s make it official, apply to adopt!
