Meet Ava, Ava was hit by a car and then abandoned at the vet's office by her owner. We took her in from there and cared for her as she lost her leg in the accident. However, you would never know by how she moves and walks. She is still very quick and loves long walks. Ava will take time to get to know you. She is still unsure of strangers. She will need someone to be patient with her and give her a second chance, we believe she still feels abandoned. She does need to be an only dog though. She was born in January of 2014 and abandoned in 2017 and has been with us ever since.
