About Griff

Griff has been through more than most pups should ever have to. He was found tied to a tree in poor shape by a caring volunteer, and from there, landed a spot at the rescue. Griff was scared and in need of immediate medical help, but with support, he started to heal and is now recovering well—he just has a bit of hair loss, which makes him stand out in his own way. Born in 2016, Griff already knows what it’s like to be left behind. This rough start means he gets nervous in loud or chaotic surroundings, but in a patient home, his quirky personality shines through. Once comfortable, he’s quick to make people laugh and clearly enjoys being part of the fun. Griff needs an active family ready to invest in training and to show him that good things still happen. He’s neutered and current on vaccinations, and while his reaction to other dogs is still unknown due to the stressful shelter environment, slow, careful introductions will be crucial if new dog friends are in his future. What Griff truly needs is someone who sees beyond his tough past and is willing to help him move forward. Make the next chapter the best one yet for Griff. Lets make it official, apply to adopt!
