Hi, I’m Alora And I’m so happy you’re here reading about me. I wandered into the rescue in Justin one day, and the moment I arrived, I bravely walked straight into one of the staff member’s arms. Yep — I knew I was safe, and it was love at first hug. I was born in June 2022, and I’m a young girl with a big heart and so much love to give. Everyone says I have the sweetest disposition. I’m very friendly with staff and volunteers and love being around my people. Mealtime can make me a little nervous sometimes, but feeding me separately from other dogs helps me feel calm and comfortable — and then I’m perfectly happy. One of my absolute favorite things is going on long walks around the rescue’s beautiful 5-acre property. I’ve been working hard on my leash skills and I’m doing great! I love taking in all the sights and smells along the way. I also know how to sit, and playing with my toys is one of my favorite ways to have fun. When I’m not exploring or playing, you’ll often find me curled up taking the cutest naps under the shade of the trees. I’m a total cuddle bug and love giving hugs and kisses — affection is kind of my thing. I’m ready for my forever home where I can keep growing, learning, and being loved.
