ADOPTION REQUIREMENTS FENCED YARD AGE APPROPRIATE CANINE COMPANION Hi! I’m Penny. I came to my foster family after I was found wandering in Nixa. My family never came to get me so now I live on a farm. There are some really neat animals here. I want to play with these weird birds called chickens but my foster mom said I’m not allowed to. They look fun to chase but mom said no again. There are also goats, cows and horses but they are bigger than me and don’t look like they want to play. I also live with these other animals called cats. At first they terrified me but now i just stay away from them. Penny is approximately 6 mos old, weighs about 25lbs and is a great dog. With some patience and training she could be your best friend. She is very food motivated and is working on sit. She loves everyone and just wants to play. She chews but mostly on her own toys and sometimes a random stick she finds. She is crate trained and with regular potty breaks she is doing great. She loves to play fetch although we are working on “bring it back” Penny loves water!! She gets along great with another dog we have that likes to play as hard as she does. She likes routine which should make continued training easier. She will require a fenced yard and someone who can routinely let her out or a doggy door.
