About Milo

Milo's favorite place is right next to his human, usually curled up against your chest or tucked under the covers. He's incredibly affectionate and loves giving kisses. If you want a dog who wants to be with you at all times, he's your Velcro dog. He's surprisingly athletic, jumping from stairs to couch to ottoman like it's nothing, and he'll jump right into your arms when you call him (his recall is that good). He's great with kids and plays well with other dogs, even ones much bigger than him. Even though he's still a puppy, Milo is very smart and picks up on the rules of the house quickly. He rarely barks (though he will if crated), is easygoing, and doesn't mind being dressed up or carried around if it means staying close to his person. He's truly a sweet, easy, ready-to-go addition to just about any family. They were rescued from a kill shelter in New Mexico. Meet and greets are by appointment only. An approved application is required to schedule a meeting. Check out our events page for upcoming open adoption events! We have no additional back story or update for this dog at this time. When we do, it will be updated here. This is all the information we have currently. Approved Applicants may make the adoption fee payment by clicking donate above. Partial adoption fees will not hold a dog. If upon meeting the dog of your choosing at your scheduled pickup time you find that you aren't a good match, your deposit will be fully refunded. Adoption fees include vaccines up until time of adoption, microchip, spay/neuter and 1st 30 days of free pet insurance. We are not affiliated with MetLife pet insurance. (you have to sign up for the insurance or it will not go into effect). Adoption fees help cover the medical care of the animals while he or she waits for a new home, as well as food and transportation costs. These fees help to provide care for the other animals in the shelter or rescue group who may have medical bills that are much higher than any possible adoption fee. The money also acts as a donation to help support the organization as a whole, allowing the group to continue its efforts to rescue and rehome pets. The dogs in our care are fostered in Colorado, Texas, and New Mexico. While all dogs are picked up during our scheduled times, sometimes transport dates change due to unforeseen circumstances.
