About Max Bonded Werma
Max and his sister Erma are a bonded pair of 14-year-old littermates who have spent their lives together. Both are front declawed and must be adopted as a duo since they’re inseparable—they nap, play, and spend their days side by side. As with all Reuben’s Room cats, they need to stay indoors only. Max is the bigger cat, mostly grey with a white beard, weighing around 15 pounds, and Erma is slightly smaller with lighter, dilute tortoiseshell coloring. Both have striking eyes and give off a quiet, independent vibe. Their current routine has made them a bit reserved, though they welcome gentle petting—and Max has a particular fondness for chin scratches. They’ve lived with other cats before but it’s been a while, so their response to new feline companions is unknown. There’s also no history with children or dogs. An adult home (or one with older, cat-savvy kids) is ideal. They come with their familiar cat condos and some supplies to help them settle in. These two start off timid and will need a patient adopter willing to give them time to settle. Their current family is rehoming them so they can receive more attention and interaction in their golden years. Max and Erma are looking for a quiet, loving place to call home for their retirement.
