About Smuckers
Smuckers arrived in late June 2025 after a rough start in lifeârescued as a tiny stray with a handful of health hurdles, including being Feline Leukemia positive and dealing with a chronic upper respiratory infection. What she lacks in heft, she overflows in personality: she has a nasal snort and a permanent head tilt, but none of it slows her down. If anything, these quirks only add to her charm, and her piglet snorts can be heard from across the house. Volunteers canât resist scooping her up, and while sheâs not a fan of other cats, she peacefully co-exists with a hiss and a backdown if needed. Smuckers is content to live with other pets but thrives best with folks who understand the energyâand mischiefâof a young cat. Older kids who can keep her entertained would be a great match. She loves surveying the world from a window perch and can turn any spot into a nap zone when sheâs not racing around. Despite her medical challenges, Smuckers doesnât let anything dampen her spiritâshe brings a whole lot of life and comedy wherever she is. Did you know Smuckers is a Sagittarius? She lives up to her sun signâs reputation for boldness and adventure. Make room for laughs and action: this little cat is ready to make trouble and warm laps in equal measure.
