About Chase

Chase survived the odds and came off the euthanasia list about a year ago, finding a home that sadly had to return him for reasons beyond his control. It’s clear he’s a sweet, sensitive soul—during his initial confusion, he looked for comfort and wanted to be close. He settles fine in a wire crate, though covered ones stress him out. Chase is house trained, gentle, and remarkably low-maintenance, showing little interest in chewing—barely bothers with toys, much prefers relaxing near his people. He gets along well with other dogs, especially when out in the park, though he's not the type to initiate rough and tumble play. Despite being a little reactive around new dogs at first, walking with them helps him adjust. No issues here with food or toy guarding. Chase greets kids with delight, soaking up attention from a crowd without being overwhelmed. He's food motivated but keeps things polite and doesn't beg at the table. If you’re looking for a walking or adventure buddy who prefers lounging by your side, Chase is ready to join you. Start your journey together! Apply now.
