About Callie
Callie escaped a bad situation and now sheās looking for the good life after raising all her puppiesāwho have already found homes themselves. Sheās a loving dog with a gentle spirit, though new people (especially men) make her cautious at first. With a little patience, Callie quickly turns into a devoted companion who wants nothing more than to bond closely with her person. Typical for a working shepherd, Callie thrives when given a job or structured training. Sheās happiest in an active home where sheāll get plenty of exercise and purpose. Water play and romping with dogs are some of her favorite things, and Callie adores the company of other pups. Sheās respectful with cats and has no problem sharing a home with them. Her main challenge is separation anxiety, but ongoing crate work is helping her build confidence when left alone. Callieās heart is hugeāshe's loyal, extremely attached to her people, gentle, and ready for a family who will keep up with her training and offer the safe, loving environment she deserves.
