About Jack
Jack, also known as “Gentleman” Jack, is a 13-year-old American Staffordshire Terrier mix looking for his peaceful spot in the world. This low-key senior isn’t about adventure or big excitement—he just wants comfort, quiet, and someone who’ll stick by him for his golden years. At around 67 lbs, Jack is a true velcro dog, always close at hand, happiest when simply resting beside you. He lives for soft landings, gentle routines, and a home where he’ll never be left behind. Jack thrives in calm, low-traffic spaces, making him a great match for retirees or those working from home. He’s happiest with older kids and would love a fenced yard for unhurried strolls and lazy sniffing. He’s mellow outside, content inside, and currently enjoys being the only dog in the home, soaking up all the affection. Jack is housebroken, calm on a leash, rides well in the car, and is crate trained. He does take medication for anxiety and is likely deaf, but he’s deeply attuned to routines and affection. Trusting and devoted, Jack brings warmth and heart to any home, and he deserves all the love in his remaining years. They are ready to love you; are you ready to apply?
