About Carter
Carter is a two-year-old American Staffordshire Terrier with a big heart and even bigger personality. At about 80 pounds, Carter carries his size with confidence on short, shiny black and cream fur. He’s gone through professional training, knows all the basics, is housebroken, crate-trained, and comfortable walking on a leash. Carter thrives on play—he’s always up for tug-of-war, chasing toys around, or stirring up smiles during backyard fun. Indoors, he flips the switch, turning into a total couch cuddler and snuggle fan. He does well with other dogs and even goats, though he doesn’t get along with cats. Despite his friendly, goofy nature, Carter’s strength means he’ll do best in an adult-only home willing to continue his training as he matures. Adoptable only in New Jersey and nearby areas, Carter is ready to bring his warmth, loyalty, and fun-loving energy to a home willing to match his zest. Ready to fall in love?
