Merlin is a 3-year-old American Staffordshire Terrier with a striking merle coat and warm light-brown eyes, just waiting to share his heart with someone special. After arriving at the shelter as a shy puppy and spending nearly two years there, he has truly come into his own. Recently graduating from formal obedience training, he’s now completely ready for a loving forever home. Merlin is extremely affectionate and thrives on bonding with his humans. He’s smart and eager to learn, already mastering commands like sit, down, and recall. His leash manners are excellent, making him a joy during outdoor adventures. Crate trained and easygoing, he sleeps in his crate without any fuss. He gets along well with calm and friendly dogs but would do best in a home without cats or small pets due to his prey drive.
