About Missy

Start your journey together! Apply now. Missy is a delightful American Staffordshire Terrier who was returned to us after her previous adopters expanded their family and discovered she wasn't suited for life with a baby. While her personality has blossomed over the years, Missy is no longer the shy dog we once knew. She is now friendly and outgoing with adults, making her an ideal companion or copilot for someone looking for a loyal best friend. Missy thrives in a home without small children or other pets, so she will need to be your one and only. Her favorite pastimes include daily walks, seeking out new adventures, and playing with squeaky toys. At 7-8 years old, Missy is spayed, up to date on her vaccinations, microchipped, and maintained on heartworm, flea, and tick prevention. She would be happiest with an active family committed to keeping her engaged and busy. Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
