Meet our big boy Wrigley! Wrigley was left behind at a shelter when his owners moved and chose not to take him, even though they said he was a really great dog. Their loss is truly someone else’s gain, because we scooped him up right away—and we are so glad we did! Wrigley is 10 years old and currently weighs in at 130 pounds (yes, you read that right!). His number one goal right now is to slim down, and he’ll need a committed family to help him get there with a healthy diet and gradually increasing exercise. It won’t happen overnight, but we know he can do it—he’s a classic Golden who just wants to please his people. As he sheds the extra weight and his coat grows back in from being shaved, we know this handsome boy is going to absolutely shine. But even now, his sweet and gentle spirit is what truly stands out.
