Bane was found as a stray in the Houston, Texas area and made his way into rescue to get a second chance at life. Like many dogs in the South, he didn’t have the easiest start, but he’s now safe and ready to find a family of his own. Bane is a loving, silly, and affectionate boy who truly thrives on being close to his people. He enjoys attention and companionship and would do best in a home where he can be part of daily life. Bane is potty trained, crate trained, and walks well on a leash. He knows “sit” and is eager to please, making him a great candidate for continued training. He does well with other dogs, cats, and kids, making him a wonderful fit for many different types of homes. His favorite thing is simply being near his humans and soaking up all the love he can get. Bane is heartworm positive, which is common among strays in the South. The good news is that he is completing treatment and is on his way to being heartworm negative soon.
