Harlan has a mellow personality and enjoys lounging outside and relaxing by your side. While he's mostly calm and sleepy, he'll occasionally spring into action with playful bursts of energy, especially if he spots a squirrel. He can be a bit shy, but with a little patience and time, his affectionate, playful, and loyal personality will shine through. He loves being around his people and will quickly become a devoted companion. Harlan isn't the biggest fan of being left home alone or going on car rides, but with patience, time, and some training, these behaviors can likely improve.
