He was born with a bilateral cleft lip and cleft palate, which makes him look a little unique — but he doesn’t let it slow him down one bit. Because of his cleft, Nacua was placed in a neonatal foster home for specialized care early on. Since then, he has absolutely thrived and continues to impress everyone with how well he manages on his own. He is incredibly social and loves everyone he meets — dogs, cats, kids, and adults alike. Whether he’s playing, snuggling, or just being his goofy self, Nacua brings joy wherever he goes. Special Considerations Nacua’s cleft is very manageable, but adopters should be aware of a few lifelong care needs: Kibble matters: He needs appropriately shaped dry food to prevent food from getting stuck -Currently thriving on Royal Canin French Bulldog Puppy -Future options include Royal Canin French Bulldog, Royal Canin English Bulldog, or NutriSource Large Breed -No wet or sticky foods: Wet food, peanut butter, and similar treats are not safe for him -Raised water bowl recommended -He does a great job clearing his cleft independently when needed Home Requirements -Preferably minimal stairs (short legs = extra effort!) -A home without shared walls is ideal, as he can be a bit vocal when excited -Another dog would be a bonus, but not required Committed adopters willing to follow his feeding guidelines Personality Sweet, silly, and affectionate Confident and social Loves to play and be involved in everything A little talkative when he has something to say The Perfect Match Nacua would thrive with a family who will embrace his uniqueness and continue setting him up for success.
