Meet PB Truffle!!! Do not let his little micro body fool you.. this boy has a HUGE personality!!! He has a lot of confidence and isn't afraid to show it!! When PB first came to rescue he had a lot of things to work on as far as manners and boundaries go. It was clear he had never had anyone show him how to be the best PB he could be!! Great news!! He is a very quick learner and he is extremely food motivated so training with him is pretty easy. As long as you have a cookie he will do what he needs to get it!! PB is really great in his kennel. He doesn't fuss at all. He does however have to be on a schedule as he needs to be out at least every 8 hrs. or he could have an accident. He tries hard but when you got to go you got to go. PB does eat with a slow feeder as he is still learning he will get meals every day. Without it he will scarf his food down and choke PB also does best with a harness vs. a collar. He has a short snout so if he pulls he can choke easily but is great on the harness!! PB LOVES affection and attention. He LOVES to be held and pet and told how handsome he is!! He loves to lay on a comfy dog bed but he'd prefer your lap! PB is best as an only pet. He was quite barrier reactive when he first came to rescue to some other dogs but has gotten much better at that. However, he still doesn't like dogs in his face or space. He likely wasn't socialized when he was younger so now he finds it difficult to live with other dogs. It's ok though because he has enough love to give!! PB has come so far. He did great at a Brewery event. So long as people know not to have their dogs get in his face or space he would be just fine going places and hanging out with his people But boundaries are very important for PB to be successful.
