Lance
AvailableLance is a 6-year-old, neutered male Siberian Husky/Husky mix with a striking black and tricolor (brown, black, and white) coat. He has a medium build and medium-length fur, and is fully house trained. Currently in West Palm Beach, FL, Lance’s vaccinations are up to date. He’s living proof that a dog can endure heartbreak and still bounce back with loyalty and grace.
About Lance
Lance survived the South Korean meat trade, only to face abandonment by his adopter five years later. Despite being flown to safety and placed in what was supposed to be his forever home in Tampa, Lance’s adopter eventually tried to have him euthanized. Thankfully, the vet refused and his rescue network stepped in, with a devoted local foster picking up where others left off. He came out of that betrayal shut down and heartbroken but never aggressive. After everything, Lance is still a genuinely great dog. At 6 years old, he’s crate trained, non-destructive, loves going for walks and runs, and has the rare husky trait of excellent recall. He gets along with people, sets healthy boundaries with dogs, and doesn’t guard resources with humans. He’s even lived successfully with cats. By every account, he didn’t fail—he was failed, twice, by humans who should have known better. Now Lance is ready for someone who truly understands commitment isn’t temporary. Let’s make his next home his best one yet. Lets make it official, apply to adopt!
