Clay
AvailableClay is a young, medium-sized, tricolor Siberian Husky mix with a short coat. He is neutered, vaccinated, and house trained, currently living in West Palm Beach, FL. Clay does have special needs related to limited peripheral vision, but he navigates well once familiar with his surroundings. This kind and resilient dog gets along well with other dogs and is looking for a stable home where he can truly belong.
About Clay
Clay had a rough start, found wandering the streets of Miami until a kind stranger took action when local shelter doors were closed. After traveling north in search of safe harbor, he landed at Palm Beach County Animal Care and Control and eventually into a Rescue Dog Network foster. Since then, Clay has shown nothing but resilience. He’s finished with the hard days—now he relaxes in foster care, fully vetted, vaccinated, neutered, and figuring out just how nice it feels to belong somewhere. Clay bonds hard and fast with his people. He prefers to hang out nearby, not underfoot but always close, and finds his happiness simply knowing where his person is. He’s affectionate in a gentle, grounded way: a steady shadow, not an attention-seeker. Clay sees the world a bit differently—he has peripheral vision limitations. This doesn’t slow him down, but he’ll be happiest in a home without small children, to avoid surprises from a fast-moving little one. He quickly adapts to routines and learns the lay of the land. While he enjoys friendly dog company, Clay would also thrive as the only pet—ultimately, it’s human connection he craves most. He’s ready to trade uncertainty for true belonging. If you’re looking for a deeply loyal companion, Clay’s waiting in West Palm Beach, FL. Your new best friend is just one click away.
