Charlie is a 7 year old Wheaten Terrier / Poodle (a Woodle?) Mix. He is cautious at first but once he learns he can trust you, he is friendly little goofball who wants to sit in your lap and have you rub his belly. He is good with other dogs and unbothered by cats. Full disclosure, he does have a bite record. While he was napping, a small child stepped on his paw, causing him to bite. Due to this, we recommend that he not be in a home with small children. The children in his previous home seemed to cause him quite a bit of anxiety and his vet put him on Fluoxetine. While I think that he could be taken off this med once he finds the right home, we do not believe that weening him off his anxiety medication in the shelter is in his best interest. It's stressful in here. We will send him with his medication once adopted. If you adopt him and your vet feels he needs to remain on it, the cost of this medication is $6/month through Chewy.
