About Carson
Carson came from a closed puppy mill farm, where he spent his early years isolated in a small outdoor run. That experience left him shy and wary of new places, but he’s made big strides since arriving. Despite his timidity, Carson has a gentle nature and is quietly affectionate if given patience and space to build trust. He needs a stable home with a calm routine and someone willing to help him discover a life that’s more than just kennel walls. Given his history, Carson would do best with a friendly female dog as a companion—someone to help him learn what a real home feels like. He does not get along with cats. Carson’s looking for a family who understands where he’s come from and is ready to help him move forward, slowly but surely, at his own pace. There’s a good dog in there just waiting for the right place to shine. Your new best friend is just one click away.
