Violet
AvailableViolet is a young, large mixed husky/shepherd with a striking gray-blue short coat. She’s a spayed female, house trained, and current on vaccines. Growing up in Berryville, VA, she’s spent time building confidence and learning to enjoy gentle attention. With her age of just over two years, she still has that youthful energy while showing off how adaptable she can be. Violet does not get along with cats but thrives around dogs and children.
About Violet
Violet started life scared and small, huddled in a kennel with a much bigger buddy in a high-risk shelter. Pulled from that tough start, she’s grown up in rescue care and has really come into her own. Born in April 2024 (an Aries—so it’s no wonder she’s smart and lively), Violet responds especially well to patience, gentle voices, and treats. She’s a food lover and eager to learn, already thriving with nose games and confidence-building training routines. Her favorite ways to connect involve playful pattern games—she loves chasing tossed treats, pouncing and searching them out, or focusing on her handler for a reward. That “working for her meal” feeling brings out Violet’s best and helps build a fun relationship. She’s showing all the signs of a clever, motivated companion. Violet might do well with a male dog in the home but isn’t a fit for small animals. She gets along with other dogs, enjoys time with children, and is already house trained. With a large, gray-blue coat and sturdy build, she’s ready for an active, loving household. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.
