Duckie is a young, high-energy puppy who came in as a stray and is already showing a big, outgoing personality. At the front of his kennel, he is social, friendly, and eager to engage with people, often expressing himself through excitement and playfulness. He’s very energetic and enjoys interaction, but he will need consistent training and structure to help him grow into a well-balanced adult dog. During play with other puppies, Duckie has shown that he can become highly aroused and very rough, and at times he becomes fixated on other dogs. When redirected away, he has struggled to disengage and continues trying to return to the other puppy. Because of this, he will need immediate and ongoing work on dog-to-dog socialization, impulse control, and appropriate play behavior. Without early intervention and guidance, these behaviors could develop into more serious dog reactivity or aggression.
