Meet Zephyr a 10 week old female Corchi (Corgi Chihuahua mix) weighing about 8 lbs with a soft, fluffy coat and a very sweet nature. She is expected to stay small and bond closely with her family. Zephyr is gentle, loving, and very people focused. She especially enjoys being around other kind, confident dogs and will happily follow their lead She has a nice medium energy level and is a great mix of playful and calm. She loves to be held, does great with kids and other dogs, and sleeps quietly through the night in her pen. Like many puppies her age, she is still learning the world around her and benefits from gentle guidance and routine. She would do best in a home with another friendly dog and a family ready to give her consistency, companionship, and lots of love as she continues to grow. Our adoption process is usually quick but may take up to two weeks. When you find an animal you are interested in, we ask that you fill out an application on our website, PawsUp4Rescue.org/adopting as a first step so we can determine if your family is a good fit for the animal. If you are, then we will contact you to arrange a time for you and your family to meet the animal so you can decide if it is a good fit. If you currently have dogs, we require them to be present at the meeting to ensure it's a good fit all around. Once compatibility is determined, we move on to the paperwork and finalize the adoption. If the meet is not a good fit, we will keep your application on file for 6 months and will gladly consider your family for another dog.
