With his striking tabby markings and soft soulful eyes, this adult big boy is as beautiful on the outside as he is within. But behind that handsome face is a story of resilience. He came from a hoarding situation, living in poor conditions until his owner sadly passed away, leaving him alone and unsure of the world. Despite everything he’s been through, he has held onto the most important part of himself - his gentle loving heart. This sweet boy is truly a gentle giant. He’s quiet, calm, and incredibly affectionate in the softest, most genuine way. When you offer him attention, he leans in fully - giving trust, his comfort, and his deep unconditional love without hesitation. There is something very special about Meatloaf - the way he quietly chooses you, the way he stays close, the way he loves with his whole heart. He doesn’t need much...just kindness, patience, and someone willing to see the incredible companion he is! He does well with other cats but he would do best in a calm peaceful home without dogs, where he can feel safe and secure. With a little time and understanding, he will continue to blossom into the most loyal, loving companion you could ever ask for. All of the cats listed are located in or near Gettysburg unless otherwise noted. Please note that while we work hard to keep our available cats up to date we also have many that are not posted yet. Adoption fees are $60 for adult cats and kittens over 6 months old, $100 for kittens (under 6 months) and $30 for senior cats (7 years+) to help cover vet bills for spay/neuter, basic vaccinations, testing, microchips and preventatives. No cat will be officially adopted without being spayed/neutered and vaccinated (unless there are health risks in doing so). We highly recommend adopting kittens in pairs and we do discount for double adoptions here to encourage it.
