About Button

Meet the Cats of Gettysburg at the Kitty Corner by Forever Love Rescue Meow meet Button! Button is a big, gentle boy with a soft grey and white coat and an even softer heart. At nearly 20 pounds, he is all love - quiet, affectionate, loving and deeply devoted to the people he trusts. He’s also heartbroken! Button and his bonded companion Ali, were adopted as kittens by a senior couple who adored them. They grew up wrapped in love, routine, and security. But after the husband passed away, everything changed. Their mom, with her own health struggles, made the painful decision to let them go so they could be cared for properly. Button doesn’t understand why his world disappeared. Now at the rescue, he is grieving and timid, clinging closely to Ali - his comfort, his constant. Beneath his confusion is a sweet soul who still leans into gentle touches and longs to feel safe again. Button doesn’t need perfection - he needs patience, love, and a quiet home where he and Ali can stay together and begin to heal. He has so much love to give...he and Ali just need someone to see them, choose them, and never let them feel lost again! Meet the #CatsOfGettysburg - Apply to adopt at bit.ly/AdoptFLR and we will help you find the purr-fect kitty for your family! Visit dozens of our adoptable cats and kittens at our Kitty Corner adoption center 39 Queen St in historic Gettysburg PA on any Saturday or Sunday from 11am-3pm. All of the cats listed are located in or near Gettysburg unless otherwise noted. Please note that while we work hard to keep our available cats up to date we also have many that are not posted yet. Adoption fees are $60 for adult cats and kittens over 6 months old, $100 for kittens (under 6 months) and $30 for senior cats (7 years+) to help cover vet bills for spay/neuter, basic vaccinations, testing, microchips and preventatives. No cat will be officially adopted without being spayed/neutered and vaccinated (unless there are health risks in doing so). We highly recommend adopting kittens in pairs and we do discount for double adoptions here to encourage it. We are always in need of donations to help us continue to save hundreds of cats and kittens every year. Visit bit.ly/DonateFLR for more info.
