But when her family’s circumstances changed, she lost the only home she knew - through no fault of her own. Now she waits quietly, trying to understand how everything became unfamiliar. She is the gentlest kind of soul. Soft, loving, and deeply affectionate in the most tender ways. Froto doesn’t ask for attention - she simply hopes for it, staying close, leaning in when you offer your hand, cherishing every check scratch and soft touch along her tail. She wants to be near her people, not in a demanding way, but in that quiet, comforting presence that makes a house feel like a home. She would do best in a calm, stable home with a steady routine - where days are predictable and love is constant. Older, respectful children would suite her gentle nature just fine. You may notice her little watery eye - but it’s just a small part of her story, a detail that makes her uniquely her. It’s something that only adds to her sweetness and doesn’t take away from the love she has to give. What she really needs is someone who sees her - not as the cat who was left behind, but as the loving companion still waiting to give her whole heart again. All of the cats listed are located in or near Gettysburg unless otherwise noted. Please note that while we work hard to keep our available cats up to date we also have many that are not posted yet. Adoption fees are $60 for adult cats and kittens over 6 months old, $100 for kittens (under 6 months) and $30 for senior cats (7 years+) to help cover vet bills for spay/neuter, basic vaccinations, testing, microchips and preventatives. No cat will be officially adopted without being spayed/neutered and vaccinated (unless there are health risks in doing so). We highly recommend adopting kittens in pairs and we do discount for double adoptions here to encourage it.
