About Lily

Lily is a just-over-2.5-year-old sweetheart with a big personality and an even bigger voice when she has something to say. In a calm, stable environment, Lily is very friendly and affectionate, happily seeking out attention—on her terms. She can be quite vocal when she wants food, company, or a little extra love, and she’s not shy about letting you know exactly what she needs. She does, however, get overstimulated fairly easily, so she’s looking for people who understand her signals and are happy to let her set the pace. Too much chaos or change can be overwhelming for her, and she’s shown that she struggles with unfamiliar cats—becoming quite reactive in busy or unpredictable environments. In her foster home, Lily previously lived peacefully with a respectful cat and a small dog who gave her space, and she did well in that structured, low-drama setting. She’s shown that she truly thrives when her world is predictable and calm. Because of this, Lily would do best in an adult-only home or one with teenagers who can respect her boundaries and appreciate her clear (and sometimes loud!) communication style. With the right steady environment, Lily shines as a loving, expressive companion who just needs a little calm—and a good listener—to feel her best. Please be sure to read a cat's full bio before applying! We do our best to keep bios updated as we learn more about each cat or as circumstances change. The bio is the best place to find the most current and important information about their needs, personality, and ideal home. Thank you for your interest in adopting from Scruffy Paws Animal Rescue!
