Peeps is a gentle soul who has clearly been through a lot, and is now finally getting the fresh start she deserves. Peeps was found on a worksite in the Texas countryside, severely neglected: her coat was overgrown and matted, full of burrs, and her ears needed urgent care. With love and attention in foster care, she's now looking and feeling so much better. Her next chapter will begin in Minnesota, where she's hoping for a peaceful reprieve. Peeps is a calm, sweet companion who loves to follow her person around the house and simply lie at your feet. She enjoys being near her humans, but she's not demanding, just content to share space and keep you company. Peeps does have some very manageable support needs that her future family should plan for: she has trouble seeing, stairs are a bit challenging for her, and she can become anxious during car rides. She'll need a patient, understanding home that can help her navigate the world safely and calmly. She does well on her own, but she also enjoys the presence of other dogs, especially a playful puppy, who seems to bring out a bit more energy and curiosity in her. Peeps is looking for a quiet, loving home where she can rest and feel safe and loved. Peep is from Texas. They arrive in Minnesota on 05/01/2026 and will need to be picked up from the Ruff Start Rescue office in Princeton, MN between the hours of 9am and noon. Please plan for their arrival accordingly as we cannot accommodate pickups outside of this time frame.
