Tinkerbell is a silly, playful little lady, coming from a rough situation, who is finally getting the care and love she always deserved. This fun girl LOVES her toys, especially big ones! She gathers them all together and creates her own little pile of treasures like a proud collector. When she's not playing, she's just as happy, flopping over right onto your feet to ask for pets and belly rubs. Tinkerbell has that classic Chihuahua personality, she's full of spirit, expressive, and not afraid to let you know when something exciting is happening. She can be a bit vocal at first, but as she's settled into her foster home, she's already begun to bark less and relax more as she feels safe and secure. Her past wasn't easy. Tinkerbell was found dumped in a Texas bayou with fleas, scratches, untreated allergies, and a hernia, with signs of no previous veterinary care. Despite all of that, she has shown incredible resilience and is now thriving thanks to proper treatment, love, and stability. She does have moderate exercise needs and would do well in a playful home, whether that's with another friendly dog or as your one-and-only companion. Tinkerbell is ready to bring her magic to your home! Tinkerbell is from Texas. They arrive in Minnesota on 5/1/2026 and will need to be picked up from the Ruff Start Rescue office in Princeton, MN between the hours of 8:30am and noon. Please plan for their arrival accordingly as we cannot accommodate pickups outside of this time frame.
