We don't do meet and greets until applications have been approved. All our dogs are located IN Washington State. We are a local foster home based rescue. Wally is a fun loving guy who is dreaming of a family that will include him in all their adventures, especially outdoor adventures. He would be a great hiking, camping, running or just plain walking buddy. Just say the word and Wally is ready to go! Wally loves everyone and he is sure that everyone is his friend. He enjoys the company of other dogs and would be so happy in a home with another dog or two. We don't know If Wally has any experience with cats, therefore, any cats in the home should have a safe place to observe this silly guy while he adapts to his new home and family. Wally is fine with children. Any children in the home should have a clear understanding about the importance of respecting animals. Wally recently received a Senior Wellness Exam with bloodwork. He was also recently neutered. Wally has a sensitive stomach and has been eating a prescription diet for healthy digestion. He is starting a dog food specifically designed for healthy digestion and doing well. Wally is 8 years old and weighs 45 pounds. Wally is neutered, microchipped and up to date on his vaccines. Please note, we have approximately a 200 mile adoption radius from Stanwood WA for our Senior Dogs. Save-A-Mutt may limit this distance based on the long term needs of this pet. We don’t adopt out of state except to the Vancouver BC area. We don’t ship dogs. Once approved you must pick them up in Snohomish County, WA.
