She takes her role seriously, loving her people deeply and wanting to keep the home safe. Mieya is incredibly gentle and affectionate with those she trusts. She bonds closely and will happily soak up love (and give it right back). She's also wonderful with other dogs and would truly thrive in a home with a canine companion to help her feel more confident and supported. Out in the world, Mieya is a dream - she walks easily on a harness, hops right into your vehicle, and handles outings with calm, steady energy. Because of her past, there are moments where she needs extra patience. She can be wary of some men, and if they raise their hands, she may cower and retreat. She needs someone patient, understanding, and willing to help her continue building trust at her own pace.
