About Daisy
Daisy is an English Shepherd mix with undeniable flair—a 75-pound dynamo who expertly juggles lifeguard duty with a dash of diva. At about 3-4 years old, Daisy sees any pond, pool, or puddle as her private resort, and she doesn't mind showing off her powers of dramatic relaxation as soon as she's done splashing. Outside, she's the undisputed queen of zoomies, tearing through the yard with joyful abandon, then instantly switching gears to a calm, observant companion when the action winds down or you settle onto the patio. Daisy thrives when she has space to run and loves the company of dogs willing to accept her playful, slightly bossy side. Though she likes to play queen bee, it's mostly in good fun—she can romp for hours with the right canine buddy. She's impressively smart: crate trained, house trained, leash savvy, and masters a doggy door without fuss. Daisy is polite, remembers her manners quickly, and often sweetens her greetings with a well-timed belly-flop for rubs. Her ideal home includes shepherd-savvy people and a large yard; apartments aren’t a match for her big energy and need for space. Daisy does best as an only dog or with a tolerant, playful canine companion but is not a fan of cats. While she’s gentle and loving, her rescue recommends children over 10 for the best fit. Transport is available from Texas to approved homes. If you want a water-loving, smart, and affectionate companion who brings both spirit and heart, Daisy will keep you entertained, loved, and maybe a little wet. Ready to meet your new best friend?
