About Chase
Chase’s loyalty runs deep, and his history shows it. He spent nearly six years thriving with a family before life’s curveball bounced him back to the rescue. Adjustment takes him some time—he’s still learning to stand on his own four feet without his canine buddy—but that’s part of his charm. At heart, Chase is a warm, thoughtful companion who craves stability and affection. He is particular about his social circle: Chase does not get along with cats, and he’s choosy about canine company, especially with larger dogs. On the bright side, he’s easy to live with—house trained, crate trained, excellent on a leash, and surprisingly mellow in the car. He has a medium-length white and cream coat, and at nearly six years old, has mastered the basics of being a good housemate. Though heartworm knocked him down, he fought through it and has come out the other side resilient and ready for real family life again. His independence takes time, but if you’re steady and patient, you’ll find a dog who gives back in loyalty and affection. Fun fact: born under the sign of Cancer, Chase is true to the type—sensitive, nurturing, and always seeking comfort. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
