AvailableLady is a young, medium-sized Shepherd mix with a lovely yellow and fawn coat. She is spayed and up to date on vaccinations. Lady is house trained and currently located in Longview, TX. About Lady
Built like a shepherd but powered by pure friendship, Lady is about a year old and weighs around 50 pounds. She comes with the signature Shepherd-mix look but with ears so big, they might pick up radio signals. Her sweet eyes and gentle, inquisitive face have a knack for making people smile. Lady is a friendly, affectionate dog who genuinely enjoys the company of people, including kids, and loves being in the center of family life. If you're moving around the house, she wants to be right there with you. Lady sometimes takes a moment to adjust in new spaces, but she quickly settles and gets back to her top priority: making friends. She is especially passionate about other dogs and thrives in a home with canine companions. Playing, chasing, wrestling, or just lounging with a buddy—that's Lady's dream day. She is housetrained, crate trained, walks nicely on a leash, listens well, and aims to please. Energy-wise, she's in the sweet spot: up for a walk or play but not bouncing off the walls. After some fun, Lady can just as easily relax and appreciate a snooze. Currently, Lady is being treated for heartworm, but she takes it all in stride and doesn't let it slow her down from making friends (or collecting affection). She's an easygoing, sweet, and social dog who carries those classic best-friend qualities—in both heart and ear size. Lady is being fostered in Texas and will be transported to her forever home by the rescue. For families, note that homes with children over 10 are recommended to ensure the best fit for everyone involved. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
