About Opal
Opal knows her own mind—and she isn’t afraid to show it. This elegant diva has made it clear that constant noise and chaos aren’t for her, but when given a private nook with plush beds and some good toys, she fully relaxes and her affectionate side shines. In a peaceful space, Opal reveals her sweet, cuddly personality and leans into any attention you’re willing to give. A recent day out with a volunteer proved she’s more adaptable than she lets on: Opal handled new surroundings with poise, walked politely on leash, soaked in the smells, and wasn’t shy about greeting new faces. She rode calmly in the car and adjusted naturally as the day unfolded. Her former family says she adores people and is house trained. She’s got a sharp mind too—ask for sit, down, shake, come, or stay, and she is quick to please. Opal thrives with a home that values calm and can keep her close for company (and the occasional cuddle session). Give her a quiet place and someone to stick by, and she’ll reward you with both devotion and a hint of that unmistakable diva attitude. Click apply to start the adoption process.
