Meet Nova!🐾 Nova is a 33lb, 2 ½-year-old, APBT mix with a big personality and an even bigger zest for life. This energetic pup thrives on activity and adventure—whether it’s going for long walks, exploring new places, running to her heart’s content, or enjoying a fun car ride, Nova is always ready to go. She loves her toys and will happily keep herself (and you!) entertained with playtime. Nova came to the shelter after having some challenges living with other animals in her previous home. She has shown resource guarding toward other dogs and would do best as the only pet, where she can relax and not feel the need to compete. With people, however, she is a completely different story—Nova is affectionate, loyal, and wonderful with children of all ages. She is house trained and has already had professional training, giving her a strong foundation and making her a great candidate for a home that can continue to provide structure and guidance. Nova’s high energy means she’ll do best with an active family or individual who can give her plenty of exercise and engagement. If you’re looking for a fun-loving, devoted companion who will be your adventure buddy and your best friend, Nova might just be the perfect match.
