About Junior

Junior is fostered in NYC but can be adopted anywhere in the Northeast, with transportation help available to connect him to his new home. At just about 3 months old, this Yorkie mix is tiny, scruffy, and bursting with personality. His wire coat and bright, curious eyes catch attention wherever he goes. Junior thrives on being close to his people—he’s happiest snuggled in a lap or keeping pace right by your side. He’s still a puppy, working through house and leash training, but he’s sharp and eager to pick things up quickly with patient guidance. Junior can get a little vocal when meeting new faces or dogs, but he settles down and shows his friendly, sweet nature once he feels comfortable. He does well as a spoiled only dog or with a gentle, playful canine sibling. While he’s expected to stay under 25 lbs, his final size could vary. Junior already gets along with other dogs, cats, and kids, but for families, a home with children over 10 is recommended to make sure everyone’s happy and safe as he grows. Like every rescue, Junior isn’t perfect, and he doesn’t need to be—he just needs someone willing to stick with him as he figures life out. Every day brings him a little closer to being the best version of himself. Junior is waiting for that person who will show up, offer the steady presence he needs, and help him bloom into a loyal, loving companion. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.
