She is an itsy, bitsy, teenie, weenie, little scruffy dog! Bitsy weighs in at a whopping 10 lbs and is confident you won't mind if she pops into your lap for a quick snuggle. Or maybe a long one. She is a curious and playful dog despite spending her first 3 years of life outside with several other dogs. Bitsy will happily follow you around the house, wants to be involved with whatever you are doing, and will greet you with open paws if you're in the bathroom too long with the door closed. She is a typical terrier who loves to chase squirrels and enjoys tracking scents all across the yard. Her energy level is moderate; she sleeps hard after a good walk (30-40 minutes.) She would prefer to sleep in bed with you but doesn't mind being put in her crate. She has thoughtful eyes and sometimes likes to sit and watch the world go by. Everyone loves her everywhere we go. She is a little timid at first and may growl when scared, so a quiet household with adults or grown children would be best. She tolerates our dog who is 10 times her size, but may be happiest as an only dog.
