Dog's Name: Pup Luna (LUN0426OTHFD) Estimated Breed: Terrier mix Approximate Age: 16 weeks Approximate Weight: 20 lbs Currently Living at: Boarding Adoption Fee: $500 DOG'S DESCRIPTION: Meet Pup Luna! Say hello to Luna, a beautiful terrier mix with soulful eyes and a gentle heart who is ready to find her forever home. Rescued by the caring team at K-9 Lifesavers, Luna is hoping the next chapter of her story includes a loving family of her very own. Luna can be a little shy when meeting new people, but give her just a little time and you'll see her blossom into a sweet, friendly, and affectionate companion. Once she trusts you, she truly loves her people and wants to be close by your side. She's also excellent with other dogs and may really enjoy having a canine sibling in the home to help show her the ropes and keep her company. Luna has a touch of separation anxiety simply because she loves being with her people so much, so a home where she isn't alone for long stretches would help her feel secure and happy. Because of this, Luna would likely do best in a single-family home rather than an apartment, where she has a little more space and a calmer environment to relax and thrive. Luna is at a wonderful age where she is in her prime for training and socialization. With patience, encouragement, and love, she will continue to gain confidence and grow into an incredible companion. She's looking for a person, couple, or family willing to give her a chance and change her life forever. In return, Luna promises to reward you with a lifetime of loyalty, affection, and the sweetest companionship. Could you be the one Luna has been waiting for? Apply today to meet this special girl! Your new pet will require a refresher in house-training. K-9 Lifesavers strongly recommends all new adopters enroll their new pet into obedience training. This provides for an easier transition into a new home, ensures the dog remains well socialized, and helps form a bond between the dog and the new family. Adoption fees cover basic vetting, rabies (if puppy is old enough), distemper/parvo vaccinations, deworming, monthly heartworm prevention while in our care (if old enough), monthly flea/tick prevention while in our care, and transport costs. K-9 Lifesavers will also cover the cost of spay/neuter at our partner vet at 6 months of age or reimburse adopter for up to the amount of our partner vet cost should you choose to spay/neuter at your own vet.
