About Dory
Dory Finding Dory living outside in a trailer park—through no fault of her own—felt like fate. This optimistic, friendly young kitty is now searching for a softer, safer place to land. She has a stunning dilute calico coat with rare pastel shades of gray, white, and fawn that make her truly one of a kind. After finally finding comfort and care, Dory melts into your arms and holds on as if she never wants to let go. She rolls around in bliss when petted, and her purrs are nearly nonstop. After a life of struggle, she's just beginning to learn what it means to relax as a cherished indoor cat, and she's even starting to play with feather wand toys. When it comes to food, Dory is easy to please—wet food is savored, dry food fills her belly, and she'll happily accept a treat or even a tiny bite of your dinner. She grew up around other outdoor cats, so she would be comfortable with a friendly feline companion. She's also very dogfriendly and would love a calm canine buddy. Respectful, catsavvy children would be just fine with her as well. Dory may be a petite girl, but her love feels enormous. Give her the chance to steal your heart, and she'll reward you with lifelong loyalty, warmth, and the sweetest snuggles. All of the Sweet Paws animals are loved a great deal by their rescuers, fosters, and the volunteers who've cared for them along the way. Your kitten will be up to date on appropriate vaccinations by adoption day, but please keep in mind that kittens require multiple routine vet visits throughout the course of their first year. Sweet Paws is staffed by volunteers, and processing applications is time intensive; therefore, we ask that you only submit an application if you are fully committed to adopting.
