Meet Jasper Handsome, easygoing, and full of affection—Jasper is the kind of cat who makes himself right at home wherever he goes. This sweet boy is a total social butterfly —incredibly chill, relaxed, and always happy to soak up attention. Whether he's enjoying pets or just hanging out nearby, Jasper loves being part of the action. Because of his friendly, laid-back nature, Jasper would make a wonderful family companion. He gets along well with other cats and does great with children—he's the kind of cat who fits right in and brings a calm, loving presence to any home. Jasper's journey hasn't been the easiest. He came to us from a hoarding situation where things had simply gotten out of hand for a local caregiver. Situations like these are always tough and remind us that sometimes what we hope for cats and what's truly best for them aren't always the same. Stepping in gave Jasper the fresh start he deserved. During his vetting, it was discovered that Jasper had an old injury to his left eye that had left him blind. To ensure he would be comfortable and pain-free, the eye was removed. He's adjusted beautifully, and it doesn't slow him down one bit—he navigates his world with confidence and ease. Jasper has been through a lot, but you'd never know it by his gentle, loving spirit. He's more than ready to leave the past behind and start his next chapter with a family who will adore him for the amazing cat he is. All of the Sweet Paws animals are loved a great deal by their rescuers, fosters, and the volunteers who've cared for them along the way. Your kitten will be up to date on appropriate vaccinations by adoption day, but please keep in mind that kittens require multiple routine vet visits throughout the course of their first year. Sweet Paws is staffed by volunteers, and processing applications is time intensive; therefore, we ask that you only submit an application if you are fully committed to adopting.
