About Debbie
Meet Debbie – A Gentle Soul Waiting to Bloom Debbie is a shy, tender-hearted little lady looking for a calm, quiet home where she can feel truly safe. She'd do best with a confident kitty friend. She's not the type to run up and greet you right away, but with patience, kindness, and time, Debbie has every chance to blossom into a devoted, loving companion. At first, Debbie will likely spend her days tucked away in a cozy hiding spot, carefully observing her new world from a distance. This is simply how she learns to trust. Once she feels secure, her gentle curiosity starts to shine, and she'll slowly venture out to show you her sweet spirit. Debbie would thrive in a peaceful environment with another cat to help with her confidence, she does well with her fosters cat-friendly dog but wouldn't be comfortable with young children. Debbie is looking for a special adopter—someone with a patient heart who understands that meaningful bonds take time to grow. If you're willing to let her set the pace, Debbie could become the quiet, loving companion you've been hoping for. At foster she has integrated into a household with 2 cats and a cat-friendly dog. Everybody loves kittens, and it's not hard to see why! Bringing home a kitten (or two!) means your home is about to be 1000% more adorable. Because kittens are much happier with a feline friend, we only adopt kittens who are under 4 months old out in pairs, or to families who already have a resident friendly cat playmate. If you are looking for a solo cat, please consider one of our friendly available older kittens, teens or adults! All of the Sweet Paws animals are loved a great deal by their rescuers, fosters, and the volunteers who've cared for them along the way. Your kitten will be up to date on appropriate vaccinations by adoption day, but please keep in mind that kittens require multiple routine vet visits throughout the course of their first year. Sweet Paws is staffed by volunteers, and processing applications is time intensive; therefore, we ask that you only submit an application if you are fully committed to adopting.
