FOREVER HOME NEEDED Meet Rhino! Rhino is a 1½-year-old, 26 lb Australian Cattle Dog who came to us as a stray from an overcrowded shelter. This handsome boy is sweet, sensitive, and full of potential! Rhino is a loving pup who can be a bit shy at first and is still building his confidence. Coming from a more rural environment, he can be a little unsure of busy city life and loud noises, so he would do best in a home outside of the city where he can feel more at ease. He does well with other dogs and would benefit from a confident canine companion to help show him the ropes. He’s gentle with people and enjoys being close—he’ll even happily let you carry him when he’s feeling unsure. As Rhino settles in and gains confidence, his fun, spunky cattle dog personality really starts to come out. He has that classic working-breed intelligence and energy, and he’ll thrive in a home that can provide both mental and physical stimulation. He’d make an excellent hiking or adventure buddy and will happily keep up with an active lifestyle. Because of his sensitive nature, Rhino is looking for a home without young children and with adopters who understand working breeds and are committed to helping him continue to grow. With patience, structure, and love, Rhino is going to blossom into an incredibly loyal companion!
